Nepal and the mountains of the Himalaya proved to be my favorite place and subject. Both the land and the people who live there. Add in the whole Buddhist culture and you get a wonderfully spiritual place.

This convergence of passion and great photography is not lost on most photography teachers - take picktures of what you love since you will be able to see it in so many different ways.

Most of these photos were taken with Fuji Velvia and a lot of outdoor shots used a polarizing filter.
