Photos - Bhutan

I went to Bhutan, the difficult to access mountain kingdom on October 2004 with my friend Joanna, whose friends know the Royal Family. And thus, we were given the 'royal' treatment while were there. (Sorry had to say it.)

We spent eight days exploring the very Buddhist nation, where you have to spend a minimum of $200 per day to get a visa.

In my mind, Bhutan rivalled Nepal in the scenery and majesty of the country, as well as the warmth of the people.
